Ways to support and contribute:
At its heart, an orchestra is a collaboration. From musicians to the composers and to the director, dozens of people give their time and effort generously to create an outstanding concert and performance. Another very important collaborator is you. Each and every donation we receive from our patrons is a critical part of our creative capacity.

Cadenza invites you to become a donor, sponsor and/or member and support a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts organization. Your financial support makes it possible for Cadenza to present classical music in a creative environment and to promote music education with a focus toward youth in our community.

The true worth of membership contributions far exceeds their dollar value. Contributions maintain the level of excellence of Cadenza and add to the network of relationships that are a vital part of the life of our community.

 
Become a Season, Concert Sponsor or member and partner with Cadenza in the presentation of a memorable musical event. All sponsors and members receive benefits and recognition for their contribution and all contributions are tax deductable.

Get Involved
Cadenza is always looking for exceptionally talented and dedicated people to join our orchestra, and volunteer group. If your passion is live, contemporary, experimental, and traditional classical music -- performed at the highest levels of artistic excellence, in service to our Bay Area community, we invite you to contact us, and let us know how you wish to partake, and share your skills.

Musicians
We have immediate openings for strings, although we will consider any qualified musician. If you would like a chance to become part of the orchestra, please mail us a copy of your musical resume and a letter of recommendation. Resumes can be e-mailed in plain text or Microsoft Word format to info@scmusic.org  

Volunteer Opportunities
If you’d like to help Cadenza we could use your volunteer assistance in the following areas:

  1. Office help: Filing, data entry, errands, pre-concert publicity tasks
  2. Concert help: Box office, CD sales, ushering, house and stage management, reception staffing
  3. Special events: Hosting of fundraising events; solicitation of food, decor and auction item donations
